With over 20 years experience in designing and building homes in the Maine tradition, Harborside Design is pleased to offer a selection of completed house plans. Initially we are introducing a group of classic New England farmhouses, reinterpreted for today’s lifestyles. They represent an appreciation for practicality and economy while conveying classic proportion and detail. These homes will fit comfortably in many neighborhoods and individual settings. Detached and semi detached garage/barn options are available to suit these homes and your building site.

All plans are thoroughly developed and buildable with only the additional consideration of your building site conditions and any applicable local building codes. These plans are designed to be compliant with the commonly accepted 2003 International Residential Code.

Building materials and methods are typical of the northeast. Other conditions may require you to have your local builder and/or architect specify appropriate building materials and systems.

The purchase price of a house plan will include one garage plan from the selection offered. House and garage plans include: foundation plans, floor plans, exterior elevations, building sections, framing plans, exterior trim details, window and door schedule.

For additional fees, the following layouts are also available: interior trim, stair details, electrical plan, HVAC layout, kitchen plan, millwork details, room finish schedule, material list, and outline specification.
